Barneys - Excellent looking buds but they lack that certain something, plus they aint cheap.
Amnesia - Used to be a favourite of mine but after the last couple of visits they've gone downhill in my opinion, the weed wasn't that good, the service was terrible (some locals who came into the shop a good 10 minutes after us and got served their drinks before us) and again not cheap.
Greenhouse - How do they win cups? everything I've ever got from them has been poorly cured and still damp. _________________ Thankyou for pot smoking!

amnesia i agree with fully. on my first trip to amsterdam my fav shop was amnesia... i actually was able to meet with the lady owner (derry's wife), and she recommended some amazing hash for my father and i, also she was showing us some crazy pictures of her in Nepal getting some huge balls of temple ball... she was very friendly and the place just seemed perfect.
on every other visit, after derry started to supply the buds i guess, i noticed it didnt have much to the shop anymore... the buds were the same as barneys. with almost nothing different, and it just didnt have its own feel to it anymore...also on my last visit there was this annoying ass beeping going on the whole time...
another over rated shop i found was bushdoctors... i have yet to have a decent joint from them... and i hate how you have to buy 2 grams everytime.. cause fuck if the first joint sucks, im basically throwing out the 2nd gram.... and i have purchassed probably 4 different kinds of herb from them... and all have sucked basically.. the jelly hash was pretty good i guess.. but the herb disapointed me.. _________________ Just Giv'r
I was very disappointed about Abraxas when we went 2 months ago. the reason is not the quality or the service or the interior, everything is great. the only thing was the weigh of the bags. we weighed every bag after coming home and all were exactly 1g, except the Abraxas bags which only contained 0,7g in them and on 3 bags thats almost a gram. totaly rip off for me!

I have always thought Barneys gear was pretty decent, but definitely expensive. Saying that I usually stick to what I know and like from there (Helter Skelter, G13, Charas). I have only been to Geeenhouse once and wouldn't go back, they just sell overpriced rubbish. _________________ One part left behind, one part already gone

Back in October, I was very satisfied with Barney's near Rembrandtplein. The Willie Nelson was very strong and well cured, same with the Amnesia Haze.
In the past, I have passed on E18 per gram Caramello Cream from the original Barney's. Walked up the street for some Umma Gumma, but that is obviously no longer an option :-)

I was quite proud of myself for avoiding all the chain coffeeshops during my last trip but had I known that they were stocking the Umma Gumma I'd of been there like a shot, top quality morrocan hash for a good price. _________________ Thankyou for pot smoking!

maybe chains like Abraxas and Bulldog are rip offs, but you cant compare Dampkring to them. At Dampkring we always get high quality weed for a good price and the quantity is always good, I weighed several packs from them and it was always what it was supposed to weigh.
And then look at how well their weed is cured and the volume! Buy a gram of Diesel there and compare it to 1g of other shops, you will be very surprised.
Dampkring is a real good chain, please dont compare it to those rip offs

ah ok, the Mako Haze is a bit too much for 12€. Dampkring is perfect for buying things that cost 7-9€. I would really love to see you trying their Diesel for 8,5€. It is the best deal I have ever seen in a shop. For the 8,5€ you get massive volume, a real intensive citrus-taste and an incredible high. Please try it next time you go and if it doesnt match the criteria I mentioned above, I will give you the money you payd back

The taste of their strains is always very good, you can really taste the Bio-growing and I only experienced this clear high from a few other shops.
I dunno. I agree with Boner. My buddy dragged me to the Dampkring everyday my first trip out, and I stopped by once the last time I went. They overcharge for so-so buds. The quality is ok, not great. Just adequate. And the prices on some of their stuff makes no sense when you compare it to better stores like the Grey Area, Katsu, etc. IMHO, their prices are based solely on the fact that they were in Ocean's 12. It's a matter of "strike while its hot". Shrug. The Mako isn't the only thing I've had that I've been dissaopinted with, Kushage, Buddahs Sister, MK Ultra & Laughing Buddah were all average, the best thing I've had from any of the shops has been the Rifman hash but thats imported so it doesn't really count.
I will give their NYCD a go in the future though as it's probably my favourite strain and I've yet to find any that matches 420's or Homegrown Fantasy's. _________________ Thankyou for pot smoking!

I bought 3g in August and kept one joint for new year eve in a small box. now after months I open the box and the Diesel smell still burns your nose
