I have heard rumors over on the hempcity forum that the Sativa was closed for two weeks after being raided and having over the amount they are allowed to have.

It sounds like the Haarlem authorities are getting strict on the Coffee Shops, when I was there last Friday things weren't looking good for the Sensimillia either.
I heard from reliable sources they were in trouble with the police as they were caught selling weed to minors. They were operating a strict no ID no entry for young looking people (fair enough), they had taken on a bouncer, also strictly enforcing the no deals over 5 grams rule and the 25% extra deal was no longer on offer for deals over 50 euros. Instead they were giving a 10% discount on 5 gram purchases (at least I think thats what it was). I asked about more than 5g deals and the dealer said that the police had been stopping people as they left and searching them to see if the rules had been broken, so watch how much you are carrying if you do visit the shop, I know I would fall foul of this law 99% of the time I am in Holland.
Lets just hope that this is just a temporary flexing of their muscles by the authorities and normal service will be resumed shortly. _________________ One part left behind, one part already gone

id always get in trouble with that law too. im always nervous to elave my stash in my hotel (i leave it in the safe if avail) so usually i have my whole stash in my backpack. sometimes over 20 grams. thanks for the heads up twitch. a shame u cant get the 5+ gram deals there anymore. but i guess as long as no one was arrested and its still open its all good. word up to mile high. _________________ as always chill and keep it vapin...

Nol was always proud of the lack of a 5g rule in Haarlem. But from last year, I suspected the more relaxed bye-laws might bite them on the ass at some point.
Didn't go to Haarlem last visit (March 1st) but went in mid-Feb en route to Zandvoort (or more accurately on the way back from Zandvoort) and the shop was OK then. Certainly open and no sign of a bust at that point.
Things do seem tenser now - according to the two Dutch people I've spoken to, there's a mood that now public tobacco smoking is almost outlawed, pot will be next. I can live with smoking being outlawed in shops if I can still score a bag and smoke in an apartment or a park somewhere.
But this is sad news, whatever the facts of the matter.
And we could all do without a shakedown by the NL rozzers when 4/20 comes.
EDIT: Just followed your link Twitch. That's Nol & MH and news of a big bust yesterday alright. Damn! _________________ "Reefers [are] habit forming. All perverts may not be marijuana smokers, but practically all marijuana smokers are perverts."

I remember last April in Sativa when a certain ex-member who's name I won't mention ( IG ) bought a large amount of weed and hash.
Was not aware at that time that rules weren't the same and was rather surprised at how much she was able to purchase, definetly over an oz. _________________ " The Old One " Old School, and proud of it.

Yes it will, and this is per MileHigh.
The shops are owned by Nol, the apartments are owned by some one ( MH manages the aprtments ) and the b&b is owned by someone else.( Mh does not manage the b&b. )
No worries about rooms. _________________ " The Old One " Old School, and proud of it.

I didn't think Nol owned the shops outright.
Someone on Channels was booked into the B&B next week and has had his booking cancelled. _________________ Thankyou for pot smoking!

Am just going by what MH has posted on the hempcity site., Wasn't aware that Nol wasn't sole owner, and I was told it wouldn't affect the B&B, sorry if that is wrong info. _________________ " The Old One " Old School, and proud of it.

I do the reservations for the Sativa. The first morning I was told to cancel all reservations for the two week period. Later that day I was told to re-contact the people and tell them the Hotel was still open. The police took the reservations book so the only thing we have to go is the Internet calendar. It has been a mess to say the least. Things are clearing up and I will be learning of the future later today as I meet with Nol and his partners.
