Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory ForumI inquired why the Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forum was no longer available. Here is the reply I receivedQ: Hi Lemming, I am unable to access your forum page. Is there a problem or is it me? Thanks. A: The forum is off-air at the moment. I don't expect it will be possible to revive it until Peter gets out of hospital. Peter owns localinet and rents the server on which the forum is hosted. Apparently the server gets hacked regularly and the owners close it down. Peter then has clean it up and restart it. While he is in hospital he can't do this so the forum is likely to remain down. In the meantime the ACD is available as usual because it is hosted on a different server (freeuk). I'm currently trying to catch up with the email mountain and hope to do a site update soon. Please pass the word around on any other forums you might use. i hope peter gets better, but at the same time. im starting to get nice and comfy over here...so he can take his time recovering so everything goes nice and smooth for him. health is always number 1... thanks for letting us know optimo |

he is actually the owner of the forum and lets lemming run it. I think he has some health problems and doesnt post too much. |
