In the very heart of the Red Light District, right next to the Oude Kerk (Old Church). Whilst they are clearly targetting the tourist trade this is till a good place to stop and watch the world go by. Prices are a little expensive for both drinks and bud but it is decent smoke and the drinks are large. Seating is available inside and outside and upstairs offers tables with a good view onto the busy square below.

While I agree that the second floor is a great place for a meet, if sitting outside I prefer to sit slightly over on Ziggy's patio - Ziggy's is a smoker friendly bar right next door and both share the same outdoor seating area. The views are much better (more canal and less RLD, particularly THAT corner of the RLD!). I found the staff at Ziggy's to be exceptional, frankly it is a lot cleaner and nicer than Old Church IMO. So with all due respect to Old Church, the location is fine but you'll find me next door.
