anyone smoked any good legitimate purple before? im not talking about the cheap stuff at coffeeshops in amsterdam(not including the purple grey area gets sometimes). is good purple just a north american thing? iv always kind of wondered this.

I.m not a real big fan of the "purple"weeds.No real taste IMO but I have seen some real pretty ones though but as we all know it's not a beauty contest

hmm th i have to disagree with you as the purple i get up here(which hasn't been for awhile..i may buy it 3 or 4 times a year when it pops up) seems to usually have a pleasant fruity taste accompanied by a nice indica high, nothing to overwhelming usually though, just a nice comfortable high. the taste isn't chocolope or cantaloupe haze status but its always been a nice fruity taste to me nonetheless.

The chocolope I had on my last visit was disappointing.I thought it was very poor quality.But the g13 from Barneys lounge was the killer.And the NYdiesel hit me real hard.Alot of good stuff I got was from coffeeshop crush.But in regards to the purps maybe I just haven't had a real quality batch.Although in Vegas we got alot of the best herb I have ever seen.It is all very subjective to the persons tastes I suppose.

yea im lucky enough to live right in the middle of two of the biggest cannibus producers in the world, california and british columbia so we get alot of good stuff. i thought the chocolope had it all there taste wise when i bought it in August(they were out in december but the guy at dna genetics let me smoke some of theirs when i was in the store) but it left a wee bit to be desired high wise. im in 100% agreeance with you this time mike in that the g13 haze from barneys was great! had it in august and december. top smoke. remember smoking a spliff of it at barney's at like 7:30 am. was still dark out and it started the day out well. the buds looked GREAT too. very sticky/frosty

just picked up 7 grams of this stuff called purple blueberry. good so far in the vape. i can taste a nice fruity flavor. cant describe the taste in specifics though can only say it tastes fruity. cant say its a "hint of ginger/ hazle nut and a a dominant fresh pair taste and aroma" like alot of fancy marijuana aficionados do.

as TH says the chocolope in february 2008, was just ok.. it wasnt the best batch of chocolope i have tried.. it needed to be flushed more... the taste just wasnt there, and the herb didnt burn properly.

grey area did have some purple wreck... it was pretty nice...

the best purple strain i have tried is purple kush... grown locally in canada..

i also just wanted to point out that just about any strain can be forced to turn purple.. the most obvious way is to drop your temperatures and watch the buds/leaves turn purple..

The only real purple weed I tried was some Purple Kush that I got from Canada, it was a decent enough smoke but I didn't think it was all that it was cracked up to be.

Purple tries to be the new White in my opinion but doesn't have the genetics to be anywhere near as good.

the purple i have now is great as i have said. no dramatic purple color but a nice fruit taste. also strains liek purple erckle and grandaddy purple are top knotch. unfortunatly you pretty much have to go to nor cal for that.

i too tried that exact same jamaican gum from the same source.. did u like it?? in a pipe i thought it tasted awful.. in a joint it wasnt bad, very oilly tho... i never ordered it again..

i did however really like some of the other import hashes from that source..

How did/does the price on BM compare to prices locally to you Cheese?

i must admit.. the prices are a bit inflamed.. but what the hell can you do i guess..

the most we see any of those herbs AAA or super premium buds on BM is like 250 canadian an oz.. if you are buying larger quantities .. around 700 - 750 a qp.. the more u get , the cheaper it is obviously. i havent checked in a while, but if i can recall , it was like 320 or 360 an ounce wasnt it for there super premium stuff?? correct me if im wrong..

the hash on the other hand... and im talking the import hashes from marocco or nepal or afghanistan or whatever.... they are sorta on par.. a bit higher on BM than locally, but pretty close... i have even got some of the exact same hashes from compassion centres in the area for just a bit cheaper... the prices for budder are pretty close to normal too... iits generraly 60-80 a gram... i think on BM it was like 80 or 90 last i checked.. which is pretty close.

so yeah the herb i would say is a bit jacked up in price.. but still not toooo too much.. it is pricey, but any of the super premium buds i have tried from BM have been pretty good.. at least comparable to the compassion centres... so i guess its worth the price being a bit higher, getting it mailed right to your door and all..

did you get to try the lizard boner??
